On Saturday, the LSU Tigers lost to the Florida Gators 16-27, falling to 6-4 and ruining their chances at the playoffs. It could also be the final straw in Brian Kelly’s head coaching stint for the Tigers.
However, his ability to hold players accountable and let them know when they messed up isn’t his downfall.
During the game, cameras panned toward Kelly on the sidelines, ripping into wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. Social media users now think they’ve cracked what was said in the conversation.
“Don’t walk away from me. You are f——g uncoachable. Who the f—k do you think you are?” Kelly allegedly said.
Hilton is a junior at LSU and has only caught two passes for 36 yards this season. He has accumulated only 24 receptions for 451 yards throughout his four seasons with the team.
Brian Kelly Has A Strong Chance Of Being Fired
The writing seems to be on the wall for Kelly’s career in Louisiana.
Going into the season, there was hope that LSU could make the College Football Playoffs and win the SEC.
Both dreams were dashed after the team’s ugly loss to Florida, its third straight loss in three weeks.
The Tigers must move on from Kelly and initiate a reset.
