Around 5:30 a.m., Plano police received a call from Kelvin Joseph Jr., a 25-year-old former second-round pick by the Cowboys. Joseph told officers he had been driving a BMW sedan and had collided with the motorcycle. When police met with him, they said he showed signs of intoxication.
