Cameras caught Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter performing an incredible gesture for a young fan after leading his team to a 49-24 blowout win at home over the Utah Utes.
Travis Hunter had another all-world performance in the Buffaloes’ win on Saturday, hauling in five receptions for 55 yards with a five-yard rushing score, one interception and a pass breakup.
As Hunter was making his way to the locker room post-game, he took the time to stop and greet a young Buffaloes fan in a wheelchair. Hunter signed the fan’s jerseys and gave some of his game-worn gear before heading exiting:
That’s a special memory that the young fan will never forget. Kudos to Travis Hunter for taking just a few moments to make the fan’s day.
Hunter came into Saturday’s game with 69 receptions for 856 yards and nine touchdowns. With 911 yards on the year, he’s a safe to bet to cross the 1,000-yard plateau before the end of the regular season.
Colorado’s star cornerback and wide receiver missed three games last year with a lacerated liver but still finished with 57 receptions for 721 yards and five touchdowns to go along with three interceptions and five pass breakups.
Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes were the No. 17-ranked team in the nation heading into Saturday’s clash with Utah. With several top-25 teams losing to unranked teams this week, Sanders’ squad could very well jump up in the rankings.
Travis Hunter Will Likely Be A Top-Three Pick In NFL Draft
Right now, Hunter is widely expected to be a top-three pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. In fact, there’s a good chance that he’ll even go No. 1 overall. It remains to be seen how Hunter will be utilized by the team that drafts him. If he’s only playing one position, though, one can only assume that wide receiver would be the choice over cornerback since it’s a more valuable position.
