We’ve reached Week 7, a critical time in the NFL season for fantasy football managers. Injuries continue to be impactful, while byes are regularly taking reliable players out of fantasy lineups.
The Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys will be on bye this week, meaning players like D.J. Moore, CeeDee Lamb, Caleb Williams and Cole Kmet will be unavailable. Finding viable fill-in options will be critical.
Some managers are already seeing their fantasy seasons slip away, while others are looking to solidify their playoff positioning. Managers in both categories may need to rely on deep sleepers and waiver-wire targets to navigate Week 7.
Here, you’ll find a look at some of the top sleepers for the week along with a flex cheat sheet for point-per-reception (PPR) scoring formats.

Sleeper: Drake Maye, QB, New England Patriots

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye got his first NFL start in Week 6, and it yielded some ups and downs.
Maye was sacked four times and tossed a pair of interceptions against an aggressive Houston Texans defense. However, he also flashed legitimate playmaking ability with his legs and his arm.
The North Carolina threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for another 38 yards.
This week, Maye will face a less imposing Jacksonville Jaguars defense. No team has allowed more fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks than Jacksonville this season.
Managers without quality QB options in Week 7 can consider Maye, who is available in more than 90 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.
Other QB sleepers to consider in Week 7 include:
- Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
- Andy Dalton, Carolina Panthers
- Daniel Jones, New York Giants
Sleeper: Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants

The New York Giants were never likely to replace Saquon Barkley on a player-for-player basis, and they haven’t. However, rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. has started to do a reasonable impression of New York’s former dual-threat star.
Tracy, a converted wide receiver out of Purdue, has been fantastic over the past two weeks. He rushed for 129 yards in Week 5 and tallied five receptions, 107 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in Week 6. Tracy may have cemented himself as New York’s new starter.
“After watching Tyrone Tracy the past two weeks, I think you’ll see Devin Singletary have the Eric Gray role from last night,” Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com and USA Today posted on X.
This week, the Giants will host the rival Philadelphia Eagles. It’s not the most enticing matchup—Philly has allowed the 13th-fewest fantasy points to opposing RBs—but Tracy’s floor is solid. He’s still available in roughly 50 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues.
Other RB sleepers to consider include:
- Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings
- Ray Davis, Buffalo Bills
- Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
Sleeper: Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers suspended wide receiver Romeo Doubs for conduct detrimental to the team in Week 5. He returned in Week 6 and did nothing detrimental to Green Bay’s success.
Doubs racked up three catches for 49 yards and two touchdowns against the Arizona Cardinals.
With Doubs back in Green Bay’s good graces, he’s become a situational sleeper worth starting in the right matchups. He’ll have a favorable matchup this week when the Packers host the Houston Texans.
The Texans have allowed the 13th-most fantasy points to opposing receivers. Perhaps more importantly, they have a potent offense that should keep Green Bay reliant on Jordan Love and the passing game.
Doubs is available in more than 60 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues. Other WR sleepers to consider this week include teammate Christian Watson and the following:
- Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
- Xavier Legette, Carolina Panthers
- JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kansas City Chiefs
