Jerry Jones Goes On Absurd Rant Trying To Defend AT&T Stadium’s Ridiculous Sunlight That Cost Ceedee Lamb An Easy TD, Even Though He Could Easily Fix The Problem

Jerry Jones went on a bizarre rant about the sun and its impact on gameplay at the AT&T Stadium after Sunday’s loss to NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jones received some heavy criticism after sunlight affected CeeDee Lamb’s ability to see the ball on a crucial play that should have resulted in an easy touchdown. The wide receiver completely missed the catch because he had no idea where the football was.

The Cowboys owner addressed the issue while speaking to reporters after the game.

“By the way, we know where the sun is going to be when we decide to flip the coin or not. We do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium,” he said, per The Athletic’s John Machota.

Jerry Jones Could Easily Fix This, But He Refuses To

Of course, the age-old issue is easily correctible. Curtains go up when concerts are held at the stadium, but strangely, not for Cowboys games.

Asked why not just install some for games, Jerry Jones went ballistic.

“Well let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?” he remarked.

“Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues. I’m saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where’s the moon?”

The Cowboys are 3-6 following Sunday’s 34-6 loss, with their season now all but over.
