Terry Bradshaw is liable to say whatever he has on his mind, as displayed just about every Sunday when he is on air.
The legendary NFL quarterback has been taking some heat for his performance every week, which is likely due to his age and not being able to put a filter on his mouth.
Over the weekend, the stars on “FOX NFL Sunday” spoke about a series of current events taking place across the NFL, including the Week 6 faceoff between the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.
“After the bye week, [Hutchinson is] still leading the league in sacks with six-and-a-half. And the [quarterback] pressures,” Strahan said.
He found himself being interrupted by Terry Bradshaw, who chimed in: “I did the song already. Pressure!”It was just earlier in the show when Bradshaw bizarrely began to sing the Queen song “Under Pressure” the Patriots first made the decision to bench veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett in favor of rookie Drake Maye.
“It’s a terrible move,” he began. “Brissett was doing everything he could to keep that thing going. That’s a horrible offensive line. The one keyword there is pressure. Freddie Mercury of Queen, remember the song? Pressure! Coming down, you remember the song? Drake Maye will be under pressure. This is a bad move.”
Upon threatening to break out into another song, Strahan implored Terry Bradshaw to keep quiet. “Please don’t do that. Please don’t do that again,” he told Bradshaw. You might get sued for ruining their song.”
Howie Long agreed as he stated, “Freddie Mercury’s rolling over [in] his grave.”
This is just one of many times his Bradshaw was “warned” by his NFL on FOX colleagues to cool it a bit with his controversial statements.
Terry Bradshaw Lost His Cool Speaking On Caleb Williams’ Painted Nails
Terry Bradshaw has been so out of control that his co-hosts never know what he might say during a live broadcast.
It started earlier this year when Bradshaw drew attention to Caleb Williams’ finger-nail painting ahead of his NFL debut.
During Fox NFL Sunday, Bradshaw commented, “What if I’d have painted my fingernails in 1970? Black on this side (pointing to his left hand) and gold on this side (pointing to his right hand).”
In response, Howie Long playfully said, “You know, I was hoping, I was hoping you would just stop and not even think about that.”
