PHOTO: Steelers Player Makes Disgusting Reference To 9/11 While Trying To Crack A Mike Tomlin Joke On Social Media

DeShon Elliott has some explaining to do to Mike Tomlin.

In a social media post on Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers safety decided he was going to reference 9-11 for a troll of the New York Jets.

He posted a carousel of pictures that featured shots from last week’s win.

The fourth post was a screenshot that appeared to feature Mike Tomlin’s face, which was Photoshopped onto Bin Laden’s.

DeShon Elliott added the caption “Osama Bin Tomlin” to the post.

There is no rhyme or reason why Elliott would post such a thing as he should know this type of post would hurt the hearts of thousands, if not millions, of people across the country who were affected by that day.

It should be noted that DeShon Elliott is only 27 years old and was born in 1997, so he would’ve been only at the age of four when the hijackers took over several planes and flew them into buildings in New York.

DeShon Elliott Has Been A Huge Addition To The Pittsburgh Steelers, And Mike Tomlin Can Very Well Look Past His Weird Humor

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ success this season has been due in large part to the large number of new additions to the roster.

The signing of safety DeShon Elliott ranks at the top.

The Steelers are 4-2 and sitting at the top of the AFC North, and Elliott is a top reason why that is, as he is a versatile safety next to Minkah Fitzpatrick.

On the season, Elliott has 27 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery and three passes defended, per his stats on ESPN.

Pro Football Focus has DeShon Elliott with an overall grade of 81.7 on the season. This ranks seventh-best in the NFL. His run defense grade of 91.3 is tops among safeties.
