Everyone thought the same thing after Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers made their first appearance together following Tuesday’s trade.
The reunited quarterback/wide receiver duo wasted little time linking back up following the New York Jets’ move for the Pro Bowl pass-catcher.
The Jets acquired Adams in a deal that saw them send a conditional third-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders. Said pick could become a second-rounder depending on Adams’ performance over the remainder of the season.
Rodgers made his weekly appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ this Tuesday, having played a massive role in recruiting his former Green Bay Packers teammate. The show hosts were surprised when Adams showed up on screen holding a football.

Fans were also surprised and thought this was a little quick for a trade that had only been announced a few hours earlier.
“Wow, he’s already there,” one wrote.
“This is like when you see your boy in detention too,” another said.
“He been there for a week already 😭,” someone surmised.
“bro has been there for at least two weeks 💀,” said another.
“Mf been living with him since his “hamstring injury,” someone else claimed.
Davante Adams Might Be Ready To Go On Sunday
Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers spent eight seasons together in Green Bay, where they became one of the most dangerous QB/RW tandems in the NFL, leading the league in multiple statistical categories.
The Jets decided to get the trade done after falling to 2-4 with a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday night in the wake of Robert Saleh’s firing.
Adams had missed the previous three games with a hamstring injury before the trade, but it’s reported that he could be ready to debut for New York against the Pittsburgh Steelers this coming Sunday.
