VIDEO: Everyone Is Praying For NFL Network Reporter Sara Walsh After She Revealed The Frightening “Devastation” Her Home Is Facing

Earlier this week, Hurricane Helene landed, devastating anyone on its path, including NFL Network reporter Sara Walsh, who lives near Clearwater Beach in Florida.

On X, she recently shared two videos that show the effects of the hurricane around her home, including water at unnatural heights and almost deafening wind.

“Dealing with so much devastation over on Clearwater Beach where we live, but so grateful for all the friends and family that are safe and helping eachother out,” wrote Walsh. “This was our street on the night of Helene. Thanks to everyone who has been reaching out.”

Social media has now poured out a lot of encouragement for Walsh at this scary time.

“I hope you guys are good! If you need anything let me know. We are over in Tampa. I was working at the hospital during the storm and it was horrible flooding on Davis Island,” said one comment.

“Love and luck to you in Clearwater. Such fond memories of happy times visiting there,” said another.

“glad to hear you guys are safe. very scary,” a third added.

According to USA Today, the death total from the hurricane has reached nearly 50 as of Saturday morning.

Sara Walsh Has Had A Very Impactful Sports Media Career

Walsh’s first major start in sports was in 2010 with ESPN, where she won four Emmys in a seven-year span as an anchor on SportsCenter. and a host of NFL Live.

She has moved to NFL Network as a reporter and appears on NFL Now, NFL Total Access, and NFL GameDay Morning.

Walsh was also a four-year starter as a forward for the University of North Florida’s women’s soccer team, holding the school records in both points and goals in a single game.
