The game was stopped as medics rushed to the scene to take him off with a stretcher. The fan fell from the 21-foot-high stands and lay unconscious on the ground. Although he was rushed to the hospital, it was a traumatizing moment for all those who witnessed it. Some fans thought that he jumped off on purpose. However, a recent report reveals new alarming details.
It turns out that the fan was drunk, and he jumped up when the Pirates recorded a hit. Another fan said that he literally propelled himself off the ledge.
