The Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of a proverbial bullfight in the final frame of their divisional-round matchup against the Houston Texans in the AFC playoffs.
After the Texans stampeded back to bring the score within one point in the third quarter, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took matters into his own hands to give Kansas City an eight-point lead with a magnificent touchdown pass to star tight end Travis Kelce.
Mahomes and Kelce have combined for more than 100 yards in the game, marking one of the most prolific performances by the duo this season.
Take a look at this video of Mahomes’ outstanding throw and Kelce’s iconic touchdown reception:
Though the game is far from over, Houston hasn’t proven that it is capable of overcoming the pure dominance of Kansas City’s dynamic air attack, which has been led by Mahomes and Kelce throughout the game.
Expect Mahomes to continue looking Kelce’s way if the Chiefs need a quick score late in the game.
