Detroit Lions cornerback Amik Robertson suffered a gruesome injury early in Saturday night’s divisional playoff game against the Washington Commanders.
The Lions have had difficulty keeping their defenders on the field all season, with their injuries seemingly mounting with every game.
Robertson has now joined his teammates who got hurt during the regular season, having come off a lot worse after colliding with teammate Jack Campbell, who slammed into his arm while he was attempting a tackle on a screen pass in the first quarter.
Cameras zoomed in on the player while he lay on the ground in apparent pain, with his arm shown in an unnatural slump.
Lions Announced Amik Robertson Was Questionable To Return After His Injury
Robertson was taken to the locker room as trainers held up the seemingly broken arm.
The Lions would announce that he was questionable to return with an elbow injury shortly after.
Detroit got running back David Montgomery back from a sprained MCL for Saturday’s game but has been hit by more injury bad luck with this latest setback.
