Two years with the New York Jets has been an absolute disaster for Aaron Rodgers.
After the Jets fell to 3-8 on the campaign with a 28-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, it was almost certain that the team would not make a playoff run.
The Jets acquired Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers in the spring of 2023, believing he was the missing piece who would help the club end what became the longest active playoff drought in the four major North American sports leagues.
That has not happened at all.
Now, social media thinks Aaron Rodgers will not only be playing in 2025 but with another team in the AFC.
Sports journalist and host of the Arizona Football Daily podcast, Mike Jurecki, believes Rodgers could end up playing for the Tennesse Titans next year and explained that the veteran quarterback has already purchased land there.
Head coach Robert Saleh was the first to go, and then general manager Joe Douglas was fired this month amid this tough year.
Aaron Rodgers spent the entirety of his 17-year career with Green Bay after being drafted as the 24th overall pick in 2005.
His tenure ended when the team traded him to the Jets for the 2023 season.
However, it started off terrible after Rodgers suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and ended his first year after one play.
Aaron Rodgers Purchases Land In Nashville
The New York Jets may have entered the 2024 NFL season in win-now mode, but the team has done everything but as they are on their way to a terrible season.
Now, many think that Aaron Rodgers might be headed elsewhere.
That elsewhere appears to be Tennessee, which is based on what he did a few years ago.ESPN Nashville’s Jared Stillman reported back then that Rodgers had purchased land in Tennessee and connected the quarterback to the Titans. As we know, he never signed up with the team, but that might change now.
