The Baltimore Ravens are hitting the field in style.
The team will debut their new “Purple Rising” alternate helmets during Thursday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
This is monumental for the franchise as it will mark the first alternate helmet in Baltimore Ravens’ history. The franchise has only worn black helmets since it relocated from Cleveland and rebranded to the Ravens in 1996.
The metallic purple helmets are said to feature a gold facemask, gold “talon” stripes down the middle, the Ravens’ front-facing secondary logo on the sides, and their wordmark on the front and back bumpers.
The new purple alternate helmets will be paired with their all-purple Color Rush uniforms for Thursday Night Football.
For bettors that are wondering, the Baltimore Ravens are 4-2 in their Color Rush uniforms.

The Baltimore Ravens Are A True Super Bowl Contender
We have just crossed the halfway point of the 2024 NFL regular season.
The Ravens started the season 0-2, and many people left them for dead, and for good reason.
Since 1990, 279 teams have started 0-2. Of those, only 32 have made the postseason.
However, the Baltimore Ravens have been 6-1 since that record, and they have two legitimate MVP candidates: Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
They went from being an afterthought to a Super Bowl contender. The Ravens are the first team in NFL history to average 250 passing yards per game and 190 rushing yards per game in a nine-game span, per CBS Sports.
Adding Henry to this dynamic team is likely the answer that could get Jackson to that elusive Super Bowl.
