Gemma Loveden explained her large brood ‘couldn’t believe’ how much the bill was
A mum has stunned social media after revealing how much it cost to feed her family while holidaying in Tenerife.
Gemma Loveden explained her brood ‘couldn’t believe’ how much the bill for their meal was when she dined out with her husband and five of their young children in the holiday hotspot.
And this is a woman who is very savvy with her food budget, as she often shares content across numerous social media platforms detailing what her large family eats without breaking the bank.
Gemma also runs a Facebook page titled ‘Foodie Family Meals’ where she swaps recipes and ideas of what to whip up in the kitchen each night with others who are looking for some inspiration – so this wasn’t her first rodeo.
While enjoying a break with her family in Spain’s Canary Islands, the mother-of-six has been keeping her 26,500 TikTok followers updated on how much they have been spending as a group of seven.

And as you can imagine, it can be pretty difficult to stick to a small budget when there is so many of you.
But thankfully, Gemma has found some good spots while out in Tenerife which have allowed her to feed her five kids for a bargain price.
And now, one of her latest TikTok videos has gone viral as people have been left flabbergasted by how much it cost for her family’s evening meal at one restaurant.
She captioned the clip: “I bet the price we paid will really shock you, we couldn’t believe it!”
Gemma explained she ordered a ‘lemon and garlic chicken’ dish while her other half opted for a steak dinner.
Her five young children then got a couple of pizzas to share among themselves.
The Loveden’s purchased a €7.95 (£6.71) margherita pizza, another with some toppings for €9.65 (£8.14), as well as her €11.95 (£10.08) chicken dish and her husband’s €14.70 (£12.41) meal.
They washed it down with two bottles of water which cost €2.25 (£1.90) each and a single Coca Cola, which cost €2.50 (£2.11).
And before you think she denied her children a nice drink, she explained in the comment section that they had each consumed a can of pop en route to the restaurant and had requested water with their meal.
So now that’s out of the way, let’s get onto the grand total.
The meal which managed to feed seven people cost just €54.84 (£46.28), which is really quite the steal – especially in comparison to other countries.
