Terrifier 3 actor says what happens to his character in ‘disgusting’ scene is ‘so extreme’ they ‘couldn’t use him in the scene’

When it comes to disgusting, extreme scenes, does anything ever beat horror movies?

The genre is essentially made for the craziest, most f**ked up minds in the business to be able to vent this bizarre creativity in order to get us hiding behind our hands.

Terrifier 3 director Damien Leone is already one of the genre’s masters of this.

In Terrifier 2 he created a scene which many believe to be one of the most violent and gory in the history of film, in which a woman is slowly scalped, sliced open, her arm cut off, and then has salt poured all over her.

In Terrifier 3 however, it appears that the worst is yet to come with an actor in the film exclusively revealing how ‘extreme’ the scene he’s in is.

We spoke to Daniel Roebuck, who will be appearing as Santa in Terrifier 3, and discussed the upcoming horror flick.

When asked about the scene he is in, Roebuck said: “Well, I’ll tell you this, what happens to me is so extreme that they couldn’t use me to do it – they had to have other versions of me to take my place in the horror show.”

“It’s three of us interplaying with Art [the Clown]. And, primarily, I guess me, interplaying with Art, the other two are dispatched quickly, and I’m the one who lasts the longest.

“Yeah, and that’s not for the best for the character, you know, like the character could have taken the easy way out.”

Without spoiling, it’s fair to say it doesn’t appear to end well for Roebuck’s Santa Claus.

As well as the newest trailer showing Art wearing his outfit in order to terrorise a Santa’s grotto, one bit of promotional art for the film seems to give a hint to his fate.

The final poster for the film sees Art wearing Santa’s face as a necklace around his neck.

With what we know of the Terrifier movies, this can’t spell a good end for his character.

Damien Leone has warned that the opening scenes, which Roebuck confirmed is not the scene he was referring to, are absolutely brutal and shocking.

He said previously in an interview with JoBlo: “Mark my words. I guarantee you the first five minutes of this movie is going to be very controversial.

“But that’s not even the big kill scene. So that’s why I was like, I need to just make this movie on my own, because it’s too insane.

“If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part two was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.”

Terrifier 3 releases October 25.
