Taylor Swift concludes European leg of Eras Tour: From Vienna shows’ cancellation to posing with Prince William

Taylor Swift concluded the European leg of the Eras Tour. She also finally broke her silence on the concerts cancelled in Vienna due to threats of violence.

Taylor Swift close the European leg of her record-breaking Eras tour in London on Tuesday, drawing fans from near and far for the last opportunity to see the critically acclaimed show in Europe. The singer-songwriter returned to London’s Wembley Stadium last week for five performances following the cancellation of her shows in Vienna, when a planned attack was foiled by authorities.

Eras, the first tour to surpass $1 billion in revenue, showcases all 11 of Taylor Swift’s studio albums in dedicated sections. Her performances and the show’s staging have been praised by critics.

Three of Taylor Swift’s concerts in Austria were cancelled after a planned attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium. Some 195,000 Swifties had been expected to attend, with many travelling from abroad for a chance to see the pop superstar.

Two weeks after organizers scrubbed Taylor Swift’s concerts in Vienna, the singer issued her first statement on the cancellations. “Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows,” Taylor Swift wrote in a statement posted to Instagram on Wednesday.
