Anderson has previously addressed her new bare-faced look
When we think of Pamela Anderson, many of us immediately go to her iconic smoky eye, thin 90s brows and lined lip look that dominated so many magazine covers during that time, but things have changed.
The Baywatch star seems to have switched up her look in recent years, and so, has also changed the brand that she’s become synonymous with over the years.
It was during Paris Fashion Week two years ago that she debuted her fresh-faced new look, and people were shocked.During the Isabel Marant show at Paris Fashion Week on 28 September, Anderson came in with a glowing and natural look, wearing a sleeveless yellow dress and a pair of wrap-around nude heels.

To be honest, she looked absolutely stunning, and while it shouldn’t be a big deal as to whether women wear makeup or not during public events, it caused a storm online.
People were immediately asking why she decided to come to such a big event sans makeup, while others celebrated her choice to wear what she wanted.
Anyway, she’s just recently made an appearance at the Met Gala, wearing very minimal makeup and donning baby bangs and a blonde bob cut.
However, it seems as though comments are turning on her choice to be a natural beauty, and her fans are not having it.
One person wrote on Twitter: “What happened to the Baywatch beauty?”
Someone else defended her, writing: “She stopped giving a s*** what other people think and started living life for herself.”
Another said: “Age. I think she looks great. Tell me how many 57 year olds look better.”
A user also went on to slam others for negative comments, posting: “Everyone tweeting ‘What happened to Pamela Anderson’ Time … time happened to her & it will happen to EVERYONE of us !”
Another claimed she doesn’t look the same, writing: “yah I think this is more than time. People say that is Pamela Anderson but that woman doesn’t look like her.”
People were acting like the last couple of years are the first time the 57-year-old went makeup-free.

In fact, she can regularly be seen without many beauty products on in her documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, which came out back in January.
The docu-film’s premise read: “In her own words, through personal video and diaries, Pamela Anderson shares the story of her rise to fame, rocky romances and infamous sex tape scandal.”
Why did Pamela Anderson stop wearing makeup?
She’s previously opened up about the reason as to why she’s scaled back her typical bombshell makeup look, telling Elle Magazine back in August that it came shortly after a huge personal loss.
After losing her close friend and makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, to breast cancer in 2019, Anderson made the decision to leave her iconic look behind.
“She was the best,” the mum-of-two shared. “And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”
Anderson also revealed that ditching the makeup look that helped skyrocket her to fame was actually a welcomed change, telling the outlet the novel experience was ‘freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious, too’.
“I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone’s doing,” she explained.
During that same interview, the actor also delved into what it was like getting ‘older’.
She said: “I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older.
“And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.”
Maybe Anderson will set a new trend of fresh faces on the red carpet.
