Deleted tweets from Anna Congdon, the fiancée of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, have resurfaced online amid the newest debacle surrounding the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
Barkley, a first-team All-Pro in 2024, helped fire the Eagles to a Super Bowl win in his first season with the team and seemingly could not put a foot wrong… until he spent Sunday with Donald Trump.
The former Penn State standout was with the President at his golf course, Trump National Bedminster in New Jersey, then flew to Washington, D.C. on Marine One along with Trum. The Eagles would visit the White House the following day.
Saquon’s Sunday leisure activities attracted widespread backlash, forcing him to take to social media to defend himself and point out that he recently played golf with former U.S. President Barack Obama.
Still, old tweets shared by his fiancée back in 2018 showing her using the N-word freely have resurfaced online, with one X user stating, “His wife is white. What did yall expect.”

Saquon Barkley And Anna Congdon Have Been An Item For A Long Time

Saquon Barkley and Anna Congdon have been together since 2017 and have two kids, Jada and Saquon Jr. The running back has been very vocal in his appreciation for all the support he receives from his partner, and the pair announced their engagement in February.
Anna’s old tweets were trending online before the Super Bowl and have gone into circulation again in the wake of her fiancé’s golf date with the President.
It doesn’t appear that she will be allowed to live this down, although she was a teenager when she fired off the ill-advised lines.
