Shocking Cause Of Death Announced For David Hasselhoff’s Ex-Wife After The Actress Was Found Dead In Her Home

A cause of death has been given following the discovery of Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff’s body at her residence on Wednesday night.

Pamela, the ex-wife of actor and singer David Hasselhoff, was found by paramedics around 10:00 p.m. last night. According to TMZ, Pamela’s family went to her house to check on her after not hearing from her for some time and found the place locked.

Paramedics then responded to a report of an unconscious female at a residence and found the 62-year-old with a gunshot wound in her head.

TMZ reports the death has been ruled as suicide as the actress’ wound was believed to be self-inflicted.

The outlet adds that there was no note. “David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, has died by suicide … TMZ has learned,” they wrote.

David made the following statement to TMZ.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.  We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

David and Pamela were married in 1989 and divorced in 2006. They met on the set of ‘Knight Rider,’ in which David was the star.

Pamela also had roles in ‘Sirens,’ ‘The Young & The Restless,’ ‘Fall Guy,’ and ‘T.J. Hooker,’ among many other films and TV shows.

“I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a ‘Force of Nature’ … She will be missed,” her rep, Sharon Kelly, said.

“My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a ‘Proud Mama’!”

Pamela is survived by the two daughters she and David shared, as well as a granddaughter.
