Drake really can’t catch a break, with even Conan O’Brien going at him during the Oscars and making sure the only thing he caught was a stray.
The rapper has been having a hard time since his beef with Kendrick Lamar kicked off. He was embarrassed on the grandest stage of them all as the Compton native performed his ‘Not Like Us’ diss track during the Super Bowl 59 halftime show, calling him by name.
O’Brien, a popular late-night personality, hosted the 97th annual Academy Awards on Sunday night, taking over from fellow comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who has taken charge of Oscar affairs on four previous occasions.
He made a crude reference to the feud by suggesting that Lamar would pop out and call Drake a pedophile at the halfway mark, given that’s what he did during the halftime show last month.
“Well, we’re halfway through the show, which means it’s time for Kendrick Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile,” he quipped.Check it out in the video below:

“What they did to Michael Jackson they are doing to Drake,” someone else noted.
“in that room, that is all Kendrick is known for 🥴🥴🥴,” a user claimed.

Conan O’Brien Actually Took Two Shots At Drake
Conan O’Brien would add that he was “lawyered up,” implying he was not worried about any legal backlash.
This also appeared to be a jab at Drake, who sued the UMG record label for what he claimed to be illegal promotion of the aforementioned diss track.
It will be interesting to see how the OVO camp reacts to this.
