It appears that Taylor Swift has lost an alarming amount of support since the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl 59 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Taylor Swift attended Super Bowl 59 to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs in their bid to complete the first-ever SB three-peat. KC was no match for the Eagles, though, as Philly’s fierce front seven led Philly to a stunning 40-22 blowout victory.
Swift may be the world’s biggest music star, but the largely pro-Eagles crowd at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans gave her a rather cold reception when she was shown on the jumbotron. And Swift appeared to be caught off guard by the greeting:
Following the Super Bowl, it looks like a large number of “Swifties” have decided to relinquish their fanship. According to popular sports gaming website SportsMillions, Swift has lost over $144,000 followers on Instagram since the Eagles victory.Swift and Kelce have been in a highly publicized relationship for close to 18 months. She attended most Chiefs games in 2023, including their Super Bowl 58 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
