BREAKING: 2-Time Super Bowl Winner Kadarius Toney Arrested On Serious Charges

Kadarius Toney has been arrested on serious accusations following an incident involving a woman.

The two-time Super Bowl champion was apprehended last week, with TMZ having obtained documents noting that he allegedly put his hand around a woman’s throat during a dispute at a house in Georgia on January 14.

The outlet adds that he squeezed “with enough force to cause her to be unable to breathe.”

According to the documents, the attack left the woman nursing red marks on her neck and petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes.

Kadarius Toney Allegedly Stopped The Woman From Calling 911

Toney is also accused of taking the woman’s phone to prevent her from calling the police. Warrants were issued in his name on January 15. Per jail records obtained by TMZ, he was “thrown behind bars” at a facility in Douglas County on February 6. The wide receiver is understood to be facing a charge of aggravated assault for strangulation and another charge of obstructing 911 calls. A bond of $25,000 was set for each count.

“We’ve reached out to Toney for comment on the situation … though, so far, we’ve not heard back,” the outlet disclosed.

Toney was a first-round pick for the New York Giants out of Florida in 2021. He won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs and spent last season with the Cleveland Browns, playing three games before he was released in December.
