If Kanye West wants a new photo with Taylor Swift, he’s going to have to photoshop one because she would never pose with him following their years-long feud, a source has revealed.
The two musicians risked crossing paths on Sunday when they both attended the 2025 Grammy Awards, and afterwards, a source told The Sun that Kanye was ‘desperate’ to snap a photo with Taylor at the event.
Now, an insider has told DailyMail.com that the Cruel Summer songstress’ inner circle would have never ‘let that happen.’
They added that Kanye’s antics were the last thing on the pop star’s mind during the star-studded awards show.
‘Kanye will try to get a photo with Taylor anytime that he can, and this would be no different,’ they dished.
‘Taylor does not give this any space in her head and her friends and those around her would not let this happen.
‘If Kanye wants to get a photo with Taylor, it will have to be on photoshop.’
Earlier this month, Kanye made headlines when he followed Taylor on Instagram, and unfollowed everyone else so that she was the only account he was following.
The source added that the singer’s pals are confused as to why the rapper ‘keeps trying to include her in the narrative of his life.’
‘Her friends also do not know why Kanye keeps trying to include her in the narrative of his life, but they wish he wouldn’t,’ they said.
‘No one also knows why he followed her and only her on his social media recently, but they think it is time for him to give it up.’
Kanye made waves when he sensationally showed up at the event with his wife Bianca Censori, who wore a see-through mini dress and no undergarments, leaving her assets on full display.
Afterwards, reports emerged that Kanye was asked to leave the event after turning up uninvited, and escorted out by police.
However, another source said they ‘left of their own accord,’ so the exact events remain unclear.
Taylor and Kanye have famously been feuding for more than 15 years, ever since he jumped on stage and interrupted her speech while she was accepting the award for Best Female Video at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.
The rapper emerged on the stage and took the microphone from the hitmaker, telling her, ‘Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all-time. One of the best videos of all-time.’
While the stars appeared to be on better terms in the years following – they were pictured at a number of events together – their feud reignited after Kanye released his 2016 song Famous.
In it, he sang, ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b**h famous.’
At the time, Taylor claimed that she was uncomfortable with the lyric, while he alleged that she had listened to the song before it came out and had given her approval.
His then-wife Kim Kardashian even got involved and leaked part of a recorded phone call between Kanye and Taylor, which seemed to show Taylor gushing over the track.
However, years later, the full audio of the phone call emerged online and showed that the snippet Kim had shared had been edited.
It proved that Taylor told the truth about the call and that Kanye never consulted her about the ‘b***h’ lyric.
More than a decades on, Kanye recently referenced Taylor and her boyfriend Travis Kelce on his Vultures 2 album, which was released in August 2024.
In the track Lifestyle (Demo), the lyrics read: ‘I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.’
