Green Bay Packers Have Some Major Drama On Their Hands As Team’s Wide Receivers Respond After RB Josh Jacobs Publicly Insulted Them

Josh Jacobs is going to have to explain his latest comments to his teammates.

The Green Bay Packers had a heck of a season in 2024. They went 11-6, made the playoffs, and Jordan Love continued to develop into a franchise quarterback.

Jacobs also had a great first season with the franchise, as the team was top 10 in scoring offense and defense.

However, the squad still finished third in the division and lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Josh Jacobs appeared on Radio Row at Super Bowl LIX and offered a shocking assessment of the Packers’ situation. When asked about his offseason wishlist for the Packers, the former first-round pick responded that he wants a “proven” No. 1 wide receiver for their offense.“We need a wide receiver – a real wide receiver. Love the guys we have but we need a proven No. 1,” Jacobs said, via Chris Simms.

Unfortunately for Josh Jacobs, he has seemingly upset his wide receiver teammates.

Right after the running back shared his honest opinion during Super Bowl week at the Radio Row, Dontayvion Wicks put out a bunch of laughing emojis and a thumbs down as well.

Jayden Reed also discussed the topic, focusing on the fans’ social media responses to Jacobs’ words.

Reed led the receiving group for the second consecutive year, with 55 receptions, 857 yards, and six touchdowns.

Wicks finished the 2024 season with 39 receptions, 415 yards, and five touchdowns.

Josh Jacobs Had Solid Season In First Year With The Packers

Running back Josh Jacobs departed from the Raiders last offseason to sign a four-year, $48 million deal with the Packers.

That turned out to be a great decision.

Jacobs rushed for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns, giving the Packers a focal point out of the backfield.
