Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had nothing but good things to say about Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson, and that could be said likewise.
Josh Allen took a final kneel to give the Buffalo Bills a 27-25 playoff victory and immediately jogged toward the sideline to greet Jackson.
The Bills quarterback still had the football in his hands when he gave Jackson a postgame handshake and hug.
“I have nothing but love for Lamar,” Allen said in his postgame press conference. He’s one of the greatest to put a uniform on and play in the NFL. Honored to share the field with him.”
Also, after the game, Lamar Jackson revealed what he told Allen during their embrace.“Go win,” Jackson said. “Great players recognize greatness. We both recognized each other, you know? But I told him, ‘Man, go get something, go win something, man. MVP, Super Bowl, do something. I want him to be successful.”
