Taylor Swift was not in the stands to watch the Kansas City Chiefs collect their 10th win of the season as they beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Swift, the most popular Chiefs fan ever, has missed the team’s last two outings. She was not in Charlotte for their latest one, which they were desperate to win following a 30-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills that snapped their winning streak last week.
She could not attend on Sunday because it would have been tough for her, given that she had just performed in Toronto on Saturday night, having done six shows in Toronto for her Eras Tour, which is coming to an end.
“The pop superstar — who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for over a year — is coming off a six-show set in Toronto, where she performed the final Eras Tour concert of that slate Saturday at the Rogers Centre,” the New York Post revealed.
Taylor Swift Doesn’t Follow The Chiefs On The Road
Taylor has attended all Chiefs home games this campaign but hardly follows them on the road, with security concerns cited as a major issue.
She wasn’t at the Bills game away in Buffalo in Week 11 and wasn’t in Charlotte on Sunday, as noted above. But she’s likely to be in attendance when the Chiefs play the Las Vegas Raiders at home in a Black Friday affair this week.
The Raiders shocked the Chiefs with a 20-14 win on Christmas Day last season, with Swift watching on. But it would be even more surprising if they were to win this time around, considering how badly they’ve played all year.
