A high school football coach has been dismissed after being caught using the school’s computer to watch adult content.
Max Edwards, who won three consecutive state championships at Northwestern, was coaching at Miami Jackson, where he’s gone 7-13 since taking over.
Edwards was under investigation for “unauthorized athletic activities” before leaving Northwestern and has now found himself caught up in another controversy.
According to CBS Miami, he has been removed from his head coach position following a student catching him watching a pornographic video in the classroom, with the school having launched an investigation.

The student in question recorded Edwards at the computer in a video that was aired by the aforementioned outlet.
“Embarrassing… What you choose to watch at home is your business…At school it’s everyone’s business,” someone wrote in the comments.
“What a dumb way to lose your retirement money,” another shared.
“He was trying to remove it but keep getting popups lol,” a user joked.
“Miami-Dade Public Schools is disturbed by the allegations made regarding, concerning behavior involving an employee at Miami Jackson Senior High School. The individual has been removed from the school site pending the outcome of an investigation,” the school district stated.
Miami Jackson’s season was cut short after the school lost a regional quarterfinal playoff game to Maples Lely.
Edwards has been removed from the school amid the investigation. Time will tell whether he is allowed to return in 2025. But termination is the likeliest outcome, given the nature of his transgression, while he might not be able to get a job at another school
