The Dallas Cowboys desperately need a change in multiple areas on the team.
Jerry Jones has been at the helm of the Dallas Cowboys for almost 35 years, but the last 28 have been filled with hope that never manifested into anything.
Sports media personality Colin Cowherd has a trade idea for the team that is getting him ripped apart.
Cowherd made a shocking request for the Dallas Cowboys to trade Micah Parsons.
On Tuesday’s edition of The Herd, the Fox Sports radio host stated that the team should do this to ensure they end up with star quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
His full trade idea was a suggestion that the Cowboys trade All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons and three first-round picks to move up and draft Shedeur Sanders.
“I would go get Deion Sanders. I would pick Shedeur Sanders. If I had to give up Micah Parsons and three firsts, I would do it.”
Social media everything about this Dallas Cowboys trade scenario and promptly blasted Cowherd:
Cowherd didn’t just say this once; he stated it on his personal podcast as well.
On his podcast, he suggested that the 2025 NFL Draft class will be weak at quarterback but strong for edge rushers. “I would consider moving Micah Parsons,” said Cowherd. “Somebody’s going to give you a first-round pick and have to pay him.”
“But there’s a lot of teams in this league that are close, but they could use an elite edge rusher, and Micah, when healthy, he is that,” he added. Cowherd also gave away a few names that Jones and the fans should be mindful of.
This season, Parsons has registered a combined 17 tackles and three sacks in his six games.
The Dallas Cowboys Have Been Embarrassing In 2024
Week 11 of the 2024-25 NFL season is in the books and the Dallas Cowboys found themselves being embarrassed yet again.
After their loss to the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, the Cowboys fell to 3-7.
This came after the team had Super Bowl aspirations.
The Dallas Cowboys remain the only team in the league without a victory at home.
