On Saturday, the Long Island University Sharks defeated the Sacred Heart Pioneers 28-7. The most impressive game of the play came from Long Island quarterback Ethan Greenwood.
Long Island needed just one yard for a first down during the third quarter. Greenwood lined up right over the center, and the team ran the infamous tush push that became extremely popular with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The play all would pay off, but it went better than imaginable. After about five hard-fought yards, greenwood broke away and ran it a total of 55 yards for a touchdown.
It will certainly be one of the most impressive and improbable plays of the college football season, even if it was at the FCS level.
