VIDEO: The Entire Internet Is Convinced Miami Players Were Trying To End The Georgia Tech Running Back’s Career

On Saturday, the Miami Hurricanes lost to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 23-28, making for one of the season’s biggest upsets. One of the game’s biggest moments came from Miami’s defensive lineman Ahmad Moten.

During the second half of the game, Moten was flagged for targeting after hitting Georgie Tech’s Trey Cooley so hard that his helmet flew off.

Many times, a targeting call can be super controversial, and there had already been a few questionable calls earlier in the game, but there was no denying it here.

The hit and the sheer violence of the play from Moten blew away social media.

Of course, justice would be served because Moten was ejected, just like every player found guilty of targeting.

Ahmad Moten Is Only A Sophmore

What makes the hit even crazier is that Moten is just a sophomore at Miami and already capable of hitting someone so hard that their helmet flies off.

So far, in 2024, he has recorded nine total tackles, zero sacks, and zero forced fumbles. However, even if those stats don’t scare many, the hit might make him one of the most feared defenders in college football.
