Kansas City Chiefs player James Winchester has officially endorsed his favorite political candidate ahead of the election on Tuesday.
Donald Trump is rapidly consolidating support within the Kansas City Chiefs, as seen on the Arrowhead Stadium field after Monday’s overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Following kicker Harrison Butker’s decision to come out in support of the Republican Presidential nominee, James Winchester decided to make his stance clear at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night.
He could be seen rocking a “Make America Great Again” hat in support of Trump while strolling the field in Kansas City after the Chiefs pulled out a dramatic 30-24 overtime win against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The married father of three is an avid hunter and fisherman. He was not previously known for being politically outspoken.
James Winchester wasn’t asked about his cap after the game since not many reporters have sought out comments from a long-snapper.
Kansas City Chiefs Long Snapper James Winchester Joins Another Teammate, As Well As Brittany Mahomes and Randi Mahomes, As Supporters of Donald Trump
Kansas City Chiefs long snapper James Winchester, a three-time Super Bowl champion, became the latest player for the team to former President Donald Trump in the election.
Just before the game, Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi, offered her support to the former president as she was seen in a video obtained by OutKick wearing a Make America Great Again hat.
Winchester’s own teammate, Harrison Butker, endorsed Trump earlier this year.
“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president, and I think Donald Trump is the most pro-life president,” Butker said on “The Ingraham Angle.”
Not to mention, Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Patrick Mahomes, was caught being a fan of Trump and decided not to back down from the backlash despite being friends with Taylor Swift, who is going for Kamala.
