Dak Prescott Reveals Major Details About The Injury He Suffered That Knocked Him Out Of Game vs. Falcons

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Falcons 21-27, yet the worst part for the Cowboys was that quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a hand injury and had to be replaced by backup Cooper Rush.

There was much speculation about how severe it was, but Prescott was open to discussing it in post-game interviews.

“I gotta get it looked at. Didn’t think much of it — then the next play, I felt a pull. That’s something I never felt. It was tough to walk on it at that point. I asked if I could make it worse. The (medical staff) said I wouldn’t be able to protect myself. I wanted to get out there and compete. I wanted to get out there and fight,” Prescott told Jeff Darlington of ESPN.

Fortunately for Cowboys fans, it doesn’t sound like this should affect Prescott for too long and could be healthy by next week.

Dak Prescott Had A Mediocre Game Against The Falcons

Throughout the game, Prescott had a relatively mediocre game.He completed 18 of 24 passes for 133 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions for a 101.6 rating. Even if Dallas did come out on top, it wouldn’t be on the shoulders of Dak’s performance.
