On Sunday, during the game between the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers, wide receiver Chris Olave suffered a concussion after getting sandwiched between two defenders.
Through his time at Ohio State and now with New Orleans, Olave has suffered five concussions. Of course, at this point, it’s worth asking if the risk is worth the reward.
That’s exactly what one social media user asked. Olavce’s brother, Josh, replied to that question, saying, “Ain’t with it in Nola, I’ll tell you that.”
If Chris feels the same way as his brother, then Olave will not have the opportunity to leave New Orleans for another two years, which can be turned into three if the Saints pick up his fifth-year option.
Chris Olave Is On Pace For His Worst Season
Olave has been a solid receiver for the Saints since the team drafted him in 2022. However, he is on pace for a down year in 2024.He has recorded 44 catches, 400 yards, and just one touchdown through eight games. If he follows the same per-game pace, he could have career lows in both yards and touchdowns.
