FOX Sports NFL analyst Tom Brady clearly violated one of the rules that he must follow now that he’s part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Before Tom Brady’s bid to become a minority owner of the Raiders was formally approved, he was given several rules to follow as an NFL analyst. As noted by ESPN’s Seth Wickersham, Brady is not allowed to publicly criticize NFL referees.
In the second quarter of the Green Bay Packers–Detroit Lions game on Sunday, Brian Branch was ejected for a hit on Bo Melton. Officials reviewed the play and made the controversial call to throw Branch out.
And that’s where Tom Brady committed a clear-as-day violation by openly destroying the officials for the questionable ejection on Branch:
“I don’t love that call at all,” Brady said. “Obviously, it’s a penalty. But to me, there has to be serious intent.”
