Luke Combs is one of the world’s most famous country stars. His name is mentioned alongside Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, and Dolly Parton. Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper has quite the opposite reputation, so some fans are questioning a recent collaboration.
Combs grew up in Carolina and is a well-documented lifelong Panthers fan, so it was no surprise when the country superstar decided to perform a benefit concert at Bank of America Stadium following Hurricane Helene’s catastrophe.
Tepper has been considered one of the worst NFL owners for a while now. However, it got even worse following the departure of former Washington Commanders owner Dan Schneider after years of terrible ownership decisions.
The Panthers owner made a different impact on his image after making one of the most generous moves for Luke Combs after he decided to offer the Panthers stadium and pay for all his costs for the show.
David Tepper Helps Luke Combs Raise Over $25 Million For Hurricane Helene Victims
According to a tweet by Joe Pompliano, over $25 million was raised for victims of the natural disaster, and due to Tepper’s generous moves, all the donations were sent directly to Helene’s victims.
One fan just had to make a comment about the disgraced Panthers owner’s nice move, claiming that it was the first time 67-year-old had done something nice. “Tepper finally did something right for once with the Panthers,” said the bitter fan.
Another fan said that the move made by the billionaire was “f***ing awesome” while adding that there is a good side of the disgraced owner that many NFL fans don’t want to see, and the evidence is right there.

While Tepper may be being praised, it’s unknown how long it will last. The owner is constantly taking heat from the media after making dumb decisions. We may see another in week nine when the Panthers will face the New Orleans Saints.
