King Charles urged to ignore Prince Harry’s phone calls as he battles cancer: report

King Charles has not responded to his estranged son Prince Harry’s phone calls and letters, according to a royal author.

The cancer-stricken monarch, 75, has reportedly been urged not to answer the Duke of Sussex’s attempts at reaching out in a desperate bid to keep his “stress levels down.”

“I know people keep saying, ‘Why doesn’t he see Harry when he is in town? Why can’t they patch things up?’ royal author Robert Hardman told Fox News.

“But right now, there is a sense that we’ve just got to keep the king’s stress levels down. We don’t want him to have extra things to worry about. Let’s get through this … There is a sense that now is probably not the time.”

“If you listen to what Harry has said in his TV series, in his book, in interviews — there’s a lot to unpack,” said Hardman, the author of “The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy.”

The royal biographer added that the king still has “a lot of things he wants to get sorted out.”

“Right now, there’s a sense that it’s not the time. But I’m sure the king would like to normalize things,” he added.

The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Queen Camilla has put her foot down and urged Charles to avoid meeting up with Harry during the estranged duke’s recent trip to London.

Harry visited his home soil in September for a series of charity events, but despite being in the same time zone as his estranged father, a royal reunion did not take place.

Camilla has reportedly advised her ailing husband to steer clear of his younger son in an effort to avoid unnecessary stress during his health battle, her pal has told the Daily Beast.

“[Camilla] has been the principal voice urging Charles to slow down and take things easy,” her friend told the outlet earlier this month. “The last thing she wants him to do is to get stressed out over a meeting with Harry.”

Harry returned to London in May, and made it clear that he was willing to meet with his father to discuss the possibility of a reconciliation.

However, the meet-up did not take place.

The father of two publicly said he was disappointed not to have met up with his dad during his quick dash to the UK, but said he hoped the pair could meet in the future.
