It has been a rough year for David Njoku and the Cleveland Browns.
The team is 1-5 and not looking like anything from last year that had them going to the playoffs.
Just before the team got set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals at Huntington Bank Field, David Njoku came to his job dressed to impress.
The tight end was sporting an all-cowboy outfit, complete with a trucker jacket that was opened and showed Njoku not wearing a shirt underneath.
He also had on brown pants, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat.
His outfit had fans comparing him to Lil Nas X.
During the season, David Njoku had ten catches on 15 targets for 89 yards and zero touchdowns in 2024. He averages 29.7 receiving yards per game thus far.
Njoku has shown involvement in the offense, but his production has been inconsistent, with varying target counts in previous games indicating fluctuating use in playcalling.
His numbers likely could be better if the team had better quarterback play for Deshaun Watson, who has yet to throw for over 200 yards in any game in 2024.
David Njoku Is Having His Best Game of The Year And It Still Might Not Be Enough
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is currently in the midst of his best game against the Bengals.
As of this writing, he has five catches for 44 yards as the game heads into halftime.
Still, the Browns cannot score any points, which explains why they are a team that is just 1-5 in the year.
