Los Angeles Rams lineman Conor McDermott is not a name fans hear about commonly unless he is screwing up badly in a game.
His name is all over the news this week after something valuable was stolen from him.
Conor McDermott reportedly had his team-issued iPad stolen from his car this week. The iPad contains the team’s playbook and footage for review.
According to TMZ Sports, the Los Angeles Rams star’s car was parked in a residential area when the device was taken.
He now has the Los Angeles Police Department investigating the matter after they were contacted.
No arrests have been made in the case, per TMZ.
The situation looks dire, but the report noted that Apple’s iPad technology should allow the team to remotely wipe the device of any and all data.
The Los Angeles Rams Are Looking Like A Team That Cannot Recreate The Magic From 2023
The Rams have 12 games left after starting 1-4.
The Los Angeles Rams are coming off their Week 6 bye, and things need to change for them quickly.
It’s not an easy slate of games for a team at the bottom of its division, but it does have some winnable matchups against teams like the Raiders, Dolphins, Patriots, and Seahawks.
This team looks nothing like a squad who shocked everyone and made the playoffs in 2023. They had the Lions on the brink of elimination.
Not helping matters is Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, who had one of the best rookie seasons ever, suffered a knee injury in the season opener and has been out ever since.
Head coach Sean McVay announced that Nacua had a sprained PCL and would go on injured reserve.
Nacua has missed the four games already, which is the minimum amount of time he needed to miss.
However, McVay announced that Nacua would not practice ahead of their Week 7 game vs. the Las Vegas Raiders.
It is going to be an uphill battle for the team.
