Sports doctor Jesse Morse regularly gives his opinion on injuries in the NFL, and he did so when he spoke on Christian Watson.
Unfortunately, this time around, his opinion on a player was not needed.
On X, formerly Twitter, Morse expressed his surprise that Christian Watson was able to practice this week.
He then added that fans should limit their expectations for him should he be able to play in Week 6.
The father of Christian Watson, Tazim Wajid Wajed, responded by stating that his son did not have a high ankle sprain.
Jesse Morse stated he watched the video and stated that it was a high ankle sprain.
The father then made it clear that Christian Watson had an MRI, and actual doctors read it to determine he did not.
Morse was not going to give up his position.
Tazim Wajid Wajed then made it clear that he was spreading misinformation before giving his last thoughts and making his exit from the conversation.
Christian Watson Was Hoping For Breakout 2024 Season
Christian Watson was hoping to have a breakout season in 2024, but an ankle injury has slowed him down.
He was carted off the field last month after a Jordan Love pass to him was intercepted by Vikings linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill, who fell on Watson’s left leg as both fell to the ground.
Watson has made five catches for 80 yards and a touchdown thus far in the 2024 season.
The team could desperately use him as they expected to have a much better start to the season.
If he can come back healthy, he is a solid option for Love and the Packers offense, and the team will need to figure out how to replace him if he continues to miss significant time.
