Taylor Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce is going strong after more than a year, but it’s not quite the fairytale romance you may see from the outside.
The Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce relationship has been highly-publicized ever since they confirmed their romance last year. The Grammy-Award winning singer attended 13 Chiefs games last year (including Super Bowl 58) and their first two games to kick off the 2024 season.
Like most celebrity relationships, things seem near-flawless and with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift on the surface. But according to a new report from Life & Style, Swift wants the star tight end to be more discreet with the public about their relationship.
Here’s what a source told the outlet:
“Travis loves to show Taylor off. She appreciates it but she’s cautioning him from revealing too much about their private lives. No one thought they’d last this long, and Taylor and Travis are very happy to prove the doubters wrong. They’re ready for the challenge.Additionally, Life & Style was told that Kelce’s “propensity for partying has been an issue in the past.” Taylor Swift apparently prefers that he avoid getting “wasted at the bar with pals,” but instead “celebrate his wins in style with” their friends.
In recent months, multiple reports have indicated that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may get engaged before long. Of course, only those two know deep down if it’s in the works, and if they’ve even talked about marriage.
The 34-year-old Kelce is off to a slow start in 2024, with only eight catches for 69 yards and no touchdowns. Though improved production feels inevitable, he’s currently on pace to finish with under 400 yards.
Since becoming a full-time starter in 2014, Kelce has finished with over 60 receptions and moe than 800 receiving yards. With the Kansas City offense struggling to find its form through three weeks, the return of vintage Kelce would be a welcoming development.
Taylor Swift Will Be At Chiefs-Chargers Game On Sunday
Swift missed the Chiefs’ “Sunday Night Football” road game against the Atlanta Falcons (a 22-17 Kansas City victory). However, it has been reported that she’ll be at SoFi Stadium on Sunday to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs when they take on the AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers.
With a win, Kansas City would move to 4-0 for the first time since the 2020 season.
