With Sunday approaching, the Green Bay Packers seem to have made it obvious what Jordan Love’s playing status will be for their Week 3 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
The team completed a roster move, signing quarterback Sean Clifford from the practice squad to the active roster.
This likely means that all signs point to Love sitting out for a second week after suffering an MCL sprain during the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Eagles.
Of course, there was much speculation that Love would be good to go after participating in practice all week, and head coach Matt LaFleur labeleling him as a game-time decision.
Love still hasn’t been officially ruled out and is listed as questionable on the Packers’ depth chart, but it’s rare for a team to have three healthy quarterbacks ready to play going into a game.
The Packers Have Already Made An Internal Decision On Jordan Love
This roster move came soon after it was also reported that the Packers and Love made their decision on his status but will be keeping it quiet as the game nears.
The secrecy is likely to keep the Titans on their toes, considering they have the possibility of playing their former third-round pick from 2022, Malik Willis.
Gameplaning for a team becomes much harder when you’re unsure who will lead the offense onto the field.
