NFL fans were not best pleased with a certain aspect of the Pariots-Jets game during ‘Thursday Night Football this week.
New York beat New England pretty soundly on the night, snatching a 24-3 victory to go 2-1 as Aaron Rodgers showed signs of reverting to the player the Jets signed before he tore his Achilles last season.
It was a very good game to watch if you’re a Jets fan, but there were many complaints over the back-to-back commercial break following the third quarter.
While there was much to talk about regarding the fixture itself, most of the post-game chatter was centered on the annoying commercial lineup.
Jets offensive tackle Morgan Moses suffered an injury with five seconds left in the third, and the broadcasters took full advantage.

The game was stopped with the seconds left on the clock, which is fine as it’s the rule. However, Amazon Prime went into a full commercial break before returning for the remaining five seconds and going back into another full commercial break.
NFL Fans Were Upset About The High Number Of Ads During Thursday Night Football
Needless to say, viewers were not happy.
“Great job there, NFL. How about let the f***ing clock run 5 seconds and do all the fucking commercials at one time? Everyone on the planet knew there wasn’t going to be another snap in the quarter. Stupid s**t,” one ranted.
“Some of us remember when NFL was free on TV, paid for by commercials. Now we pay for streaming *and* get ads. Where’s all that money going?” someone asked.
“I have spent more time watching commercials than the actual game. Plus the game itself is f***ing terrible @NFLonPrime. Fix ur product @NFL,” said another.
“Injury Timeout. Commercial Break. 5 seconds run off the clock, end of quarter timeout. Commercial Break. J**** C***** there has to be a better way,” Brandon Perna wrote.
“Go to commercial for an injury, return to watch players stand on field as 5 seconds ticks off to end quarter, go to commercial. The NFL,” Tom Fornelli added.
“If there’s one thing NFL needs to change, it’s the amount of commercial breaks there is during a game,” Bears Muse posted.
