People were pretty confused after discovering the price of the console online
Sony has officially announced its new PlayStation 5 Pro – but people are confused over the price.
According to IGN, PS5 lead architect Mark Cerny revealed the news this week, which has been dubbed the ‘most advanced and innovative console hardware to date’.
However, gamers have been left in shock over the price tag, with many British buyers wondering why they are ‘having to pay more’.
The console will be available in the US for $699.99, in the UK for £699.99, in Europe for €799.99 and in Japan for ¥119,980.
One person wrote on X: “Of course the Brits have to pay more for it too.”
While another said: “Nah bro way to expensive that’s insane.”
And a third added: “Why do we gotta pay more?”
Meanwhile a fourth commented: “I knew it was gonna be expensive but I was still shocked.”
