The world’s smallest woman has revealed the one thing people do when speaking to her that can get on her nerves.
Jyoti Amge has been certified by Guinness World Records as the shortest (mobile) woman alive, standing at just 62.8 cm (two feet and one inch).
Born in Nagpur, India, 30-year-old Jyoti was a regular-sized child until she was five, when her growth stunted from a form of dwarfism known as achondroplasia.
But this didn’t stop her in achieving her goals, as she has gone on to have a great career in entertainment and a massive following on social media platforms.

She was crowned the shortest living female teenager in the world in 2009, before being given a Guinness World Record when she turned 18.
Jyoti is now smaller than the average one-year-old baby, but has shared that she has a lot of hopes and ambitions after achieving great success early in her career.
The actress got her big break when she was cast as Ma Petite in the fourth series of hit TV series American Horror Story, called Freak Show, back in 2014.
However, with the media attention came the huge downside – Jyoti was still treated like she was still a child.
It’s an issue that gets on her nerves too, as she revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: “When people see me on TV, they become very happy because they don’t have to interact with me,
“When they start interacting with me they ask me questions like I’m a baby or treat me like I’m a baby and hold me like I’m a baby, and that’s what they do wrong, really,” Jyoti explained.
As a woman in her 30s, it’s understandable that she’d be annoyed, though her height was further highlighted when she met the tallest man in the world, Turkish farmer Sultan Kösen, who stands at 251cm (eight feet and two inches), as the two posed for some snaps.

But despite the poor treatment, Jyoti has amassed a huge following online, with over 1.9 million followers on Instagram.
In a recent post, she put up a post promoting self-love, a message to the people that may treat her differently because of her appearance.
The caption read: “I’m a girl who is strong, independent, and confident, and my smile shows it.”
Her followers continually show their support for her, and have even taken to her TikTok account to share their comments.
One wrote: “I LOVED YOU IN AMERICAN HORROR STORY SEASON 4” Another simply put: “I love Jyoti!”
A third commented: “Her smile is so beautiful and contagious!”
