Wowcher has brought back its Christmas Market Mystery Holiday, a deal where £99 gets you a holiday abroad for a few days in the run-up to Christmas.

But the company has warned their Xmas market deal with trips to New York, Toronto and Lapland is running out.

There are 100 possible destinations up for grabs, but part of the deal is that you won’t know where you’re going until just before it’s time to set off.

How it works is pretty simple: you buy a couple of £99 vouchers (the holidays are intended for two people) say which dates you’d prefer to go on holiday and wait to hear where you’ll be headed for Christmas.

The full T&C’s are on the Wowcher site, but we’ll relay some of the more important details to you here.

You’ve got to be over 18 and a resident of either the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, and since the mystery holidays are intended to be for two people you’ll need to buy two Wowcher vouchers at £99 per person.

You can still go by yourself or as parts of groups of three or more, but some of the holiday destinations including New York, Chicago, Washington, Toronto and Lapland will be off the table.

If you’re buying vouchers for one of these holidays then you’ll travel out some time between 15 November and 22 December this year.

However, you’ll need to act much sooner than that as the deal itself ends on 8 September, or until they’ve sold out of all their 2,000 holidays.

At the time of writing, 1045 vouchers out of the 2,000 have been purchased already, so you better hurry up.

There’s 100 places you could get picked to go, and some holiday deals will have you going to more than one place, but we’ve narrowed it down to five to tell you about.

You could live out your dreams of experiencing Christmas in New York City, going through the Christmas Markets and trying to ice-skate in Central Park just like they do in the movies.

If you get a chance to take a bite out of the Big Apple through Wowcher’s Christmas Market Mystery Holiday then your flights and three nights of accommodation are already sorted, and that’s really the main hassle of the holiday.

If it’s a Canadian trip you’re hoping for then you might be the lucky soul who gets told they’re heading to Toronto for their Christmas holidays.

The city boasts impressive Christmas markets, along with plenty of other things to see and do over a three night stay.

Yes, you could be lucky enough to be picked to visit Santa’s neck of the woods, as you’d be heading to the most northern part of Finland and you’d get a trip to Santa’s Village.

You’d want to wrap up extra warm for this one, as it’s within the Arctic Circle and having been up that far north myself I can tell you it can get absolutely freezing.

This is another possible holiday within the Arctic Circle and is close to the Santa Claus Village, though this time you’d be looking up to the sky for a view of the Northern Lights.

The Glass Igloos will keep you warm through the cold temperatures and give you a great view of the lights in the sky, should they appear, and there’s even an alarm to wake you up if the Northern Lights are in the sky.

You’ll surely know where this is, and two lucky people will end up going to Disneyland Paris for two nights of the winter.

While most of the trips you can be chosen for are city breaks there’s going to be plenty to do if you’re fortunate enough to make it to Disneyland.

The full list of possible holidays you could go on as part of the £99 per person deal is available here.
