Robert Griffin III Appears To Throw Shade At ESPN With Brash Message After Being Handed His Marching Orders

Fans are convinced the tweet has something to do with RGIII’s time with The Worldwide Leader In Sports.

“Don’t tell me they wanted you in a dress on set 👀👀👀,” a user joked.

“Thank you for speaking up for FSU 🫡 💯,” another wrote.

“🤣 you never had anything to say when you were at ESPN. Just typical race baiting stuff everyone there does. You never went against the leftist company lines,” someone spat.

Robert Griffin III Has Made A Public Statement since His Firing

Griffin previously made a statement, thanking the people he worked with at ESPN following the development.

“Thankful for so many people in my time at ESPN that helped me grow because they are some of the best in the business. From the broadcast booth to the studio and ESPECIALLY the people many of you never see behind the camera,” he wrote.

“They are the REAL MVPs and sacrifice so much time with their families just to ensure people like myself in front of the camera even have the opportunity to shine. There were so many awesome experiences and moments that my family and I will never forget from the last 3 years.”

Where he goes next remains to be seen. We probably shouldn’t rule out a return to the NFL, as he has indicated a willingness to play football again.
