President Donald Trump Speaks Out About Eagles QB Jalen Hurts After He Skipped The Team’s White House Visit

Jalen Hurts skipped the White House visit, and President Donald Trump couldn’t care less.

The Philadelphia Eagles paid their due visit to President Donald Trump at the White House on April 28, 2025, to celebrate their Super Bowl victory.

However, not all the players made the trip. In fact, several of the team’s biggest stars, including Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, decided to skip the event.

Hurts had a “scheduling conflict,” while his teammates A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith were also among those who didn’t attend.

During the brief ceremony on the South Lawn, President Trump praised the Eagles for their fantastic season, which ended with a decisive 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

“Complementing Saquon’s historic season was an incredible year for a star quarterback, Jalen Hurts. He really played; he had a great season and a great game. Finished with 32 [combined passing and rushing] touchdowns on the year, turning in one stellar performance after another, terrific guy,” Trump said during the Eagles’ visit.
