The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared an adorable portrait of the young prince
Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turned seven today.
To mark the special day, the Prince and Princess of Wales have shared an adorable portrait of the young prince, and everybody seems to be making the same comment.
Prince Louis is the youngest son of William and Kate, who are also parents to Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince George, 11.
In the portrait, Louis can be seen sitting in a woodland setting, on top of what looks to be a tree stump, with a huge grin on his face.
The photo was taken by photographer Josh Shinner.And royal fans were all making the same comments on the photograph, with many pointing out that all of a sudden, Louis seems to have grown up.
One wrote: “Prince Louis growing up. In long trousers (jeans even) and awaiting new front teeth. Terrific photo. Wishing Louis a fun family day, a delicious homemade cake and a great year.”
While another said: “He’s suddenly all grown up. Happy birthday to Prince Louis!!
And a third added: “Wow, so grown up all of a sudden! Happy Birthday Louis.”
“Wow! 7 y/o already!? Time flies,” said another. “Happy Birthday Prince Louis!! Hope you have wonderful birthday!”

Louis was born at 11:01am on 23 April 2018 in St Mary’s Hospital in London.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Louis’ birth certificate holds some significant differences to that of his brother and sister’s.
Louis’ full title was listed on the certificate as ‘His Royal Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge’, in a similar way to how George’s and Charlotte’s were listed.
The former was listed as ‘His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge’, and the latter, ‘Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge’.
The latter segment of the trio’s name could also be switched out to ‘of Wales’, being that their father Prince William attained the ‘Prince of Wales’ position after his father, Charles, became The King following the 2022 passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
On all three of their birth certificates, the 43-year-old mother is listed as ‘Her Royal Highness Catherine Elizabeth, The Duchess of Cambridge’, whilst William, 42, is listed as ‘His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Phillip Louis, Duke of Cambridge’.
There are some differences, however.

For example, the way the registrar has signed each document is notably different. In the case of George and Charlotte, their certificates are hand-signed.
Meanwhile, Louis’ is signed digitally, seemingly having been typed out on a computer, and a different registrar filled out the document.
According to Town & Country, this may well just be a ‘matter of preference’ by the person ‘who holds the job at the time whether to type it out or write it up by hand’.
