Tom Brady will not have to wait long for his next trip to Gillette Stadium.
The former New England Patriots quarterback turned Fox Sports football analyst’s Week 5 post was seemingly confirmed to be in the Boston by the team’s announcers.
During Thursday night’s preseason game in Foxborough, Scott Zolak talked with Jason and Devin McCourty about Brady and let it slip another homecoming is in the cards for Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.
‘They got Brady doing games, he’ll be pretty good I think,’ the announcers said. ‘He’ll be back here at some point, I think it’s Week 5. Probably Miami right?’
‘I’m with CBS, so we don’t talk about fox announcers,’ Devin McCourty interjected with a laugh.

Tom Brady is about to begin his first year as a football color commentator for Fox Sports.
The deal lasts 10 years and should see him pocket at least $375million.
Brady has spent the summer staying in the headlines despite his playing career ending last year.
He participated in a live Netflix roast of himself back in May, was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in June, and attending the Olympics with his children in Paris.
Brady was also in attendance on July 4 at Michael Rubin’s infamous White Party.
Brady was also seen on Thursday in New York City getting ready for Fanatics Fest by walking out to Hulk Hogan’s entrance theme.
Oddly enough, only one of Brady’s assignments has been officially announced by Fox, with a Sept. 8 call of Cowboys-Browns.
By the time Brady would call Dolphins-Patriots, he may have already called a New England game, with Week 4’s New England visit to San Francisco a likely candidate.
